Maternity Support Services
Provides education and resource support for pregnant mothers and parents with young children in both the office and in their homes. The program focuses on connecting and engaging families that otherwise would not have the information or access to services that help their children thrive.
Promoting Children Success and Parental Involvement
Provides several evidence-based parenting programs including Incredible Years Baby, Promoting First Relationships, Triple P Positive Parenting Program, and SafeCare, to families struggling with the appropriate, safe supportive care and nurturing of their children.
Safe, Healthy, & Resilient Families
Supports safe living and healthy choices for children and adults as a core tenet. This is accomplished through crisis intervention, safety planning, parenting support and education, adult and youth support groups and extensive prevention programming for youth and adults.
Varsity in Volunteerism
Program for high school students to earn a varsity letter for 100 hours of volunteerism within their communities.
Medical Outreach to Migrant Workers
Brings linguistically and culturally appropriate health care services and health information to the farmworker community. The type of services and information varies throughout the year to ensure the needs of both those who migrate annually and those who live here year round are met.
Child Care Aware of Northwest Washington is passionate about advancing high quality early learning opportunities in child care settings. Ninety-percent of a child’s brain develops by age 5, and early experiences impact every aspect of a child’s life.
