The FamilyWize card is a free resource for anyone to use, regardless of their age, income or residency restrictions. Using the FamilyWize card saves an average of 30% or more on prescription drugs. It covers medicine not covered by insurance, Medicaid, Medicare or other benefit plans. There is no cost to United Way, your organization or people using the cards. There is also no registration, activation, paperwork or enrollment. Read more...


The Skagit County 1095 Club is a group of engaged parents, citizens and representatives from state and local government agencies, educational institutions and other food- and youth-related organizations. We support programs aimed at eliminating childhood hunger in Skagit County by organizing, coordinating and sharing volunteers, resources and information.

Low Income Needs Assessment Release

Community Action of Skagit County invites you to join us for a sneak peak at the data gathered during the 2017 Low Income Needs Assessment, a survey of 650 low-income households led by Community Action of Skagit County, distributed by dozens of community partners and key volunteers, and analyzed by Applied Research Northwest, LLC.

Also, at the event the first-ever Skagit Change-Maker Award (Inspired by the life of Terry Belcoe) will be presented.
