IRA Charitable Rollover 

Since 2015, there has been a IRS provision called Qualified Charitable Distribution. This allows anyone aged 70.5 or older to donate money from their IRA account directly to a charitable organization without that gift counting as “income”

Host a Diaper Drive

Our largest program, the Diaper Bank of Skagit County, provides essentials to our funded organizations, we are always looking for donations of diapers, wipes, and other infant necessities. Contact us if you’re interested in donating supplies!

VOLUNTEER. 

United Way has partnered with Helping Hands to distribute diapers. Volunteers can come individually or in small groups to help sort the diapers, which will then be distributed to participants and partner agencies. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Helping Hands for more information.
