United Way of Skagit County operates and advocates to build a better Skagit for all residents. Aside from supporting various organizations around Skagit County, we also offer services and programs specifically aimed and reducing the poverty levels.

Donate by Mail
You’re able to send a check or cash by mail. Please address the envelope to United Way of Skagit County, PO Box 451, Burlington, WA 98233

IRA Charitable Rollover
Since 2015, there has been a IRS provision called Qualified Charitable Distribution. This allows anyone aged 70.5 or older to donate money from their IRA account directly to a charitable organization without that gift counting as “income”

Our largest program, the Diaper Bank of Skagit County, provides essentials to our funded organizations, we are always looking for donations of diapers, wipes, and other infant necessities. Contact us if you’re interested in donating supplies!

Host a Diaper Drvie
Hosting a diaper drive is a great way to come together as a community to support a large need in our county! Follow the steps we have below for a quick and easy diaper drive plan.

Contact us to share when you plan on running your diaper drive, what organization you’re with, and if you have any questions.

Helping Hands, in partnership with Skagit Transit, will be STUFFING THE BUS on Saturday, February 25th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the fight against hunger! We invite all of Skagit County to bring ALL Non-Perishable food donations as well as Non-Food Life Essentials.
